Border router failure at 600 Plaza data center.
Network failed over to secondary router. Primary router has been repaired and returned to service as of 12:32pm PST

Partial Network Outage - the loss of a fiber optic connection between our Westin Carrier Hotel data center and our 600 Plaza data centers caused two issues: (1) clients in the second data center lost connectivity to our core network and (2) a DNS lookup issue with the a secondary DNS server caused a partial network issue when a primary went offline. 
(1) The carrier handling our fiber connections between our primary and secondary data center restored the circuits affected. 
(2) Reconfiguration of our DNS infrastructure to assure resiliency if either a DNS server fails or the physical location of either a primary or secondary DNS node goes offfline. Three fully redundant DNS servers are now online in different physical locations.
